IndustrySim is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer

IndustrySim Ltd. is seeking an experienced Chief Marketing Officer to join a team of multinational professionals and help make IndustrySim a success story on a global scale.  The CMO would be part of the management team and working with a fluid organization aiming for global sales. As the IndustrySim team is spread between different geographical locations, working remotely and some travel come as part of the deal. The preferable home base for the IndustrySim CMO would be somewhere in the USA. He or she would be responsible for planning and executing the overall marketing strategy and overseeing company operations involving sales, distribution channel management, brand building and marketing research.

The ideal CMO candidate would already have successful projects under his or her belt, bring in a network of contacts from within the industries and have ample expertise in marketing. Knowledge of B2B marketing and sales from within the industry is essential and some knowledge or understanding of the education markets a definite plus. In addition, knowledge of simulations, digital distribution channels and social media would be a welcome bonus.

Qualifications, some absolute and others highly preferable

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial work environment of a start-up company
  • Proven track record and expertise (5+ years) in B2B marketing and sales
  • Extensive contact network within one or more suitable fields of industry
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, including presentation and pitching
  • Willing to work closely with both the management and the development teams, bringing his or her expert knowledge  and foresight about the markets straight into the product development
  • Able to coordinate and manage public relations, media, promotions and advertising
  • Experience in original content and campaign creation
  • Knowledge and insight about brand management
  • Strong analytical, organizational, strategic and critical thinking skills
  • Willing to travel to global conferences and client meetings
  • Enjoys taking responsibility, learning new things and adopting new viewpoints
  • A social and charismatic person (a sense of humor is considered a plus)
